Title A name given to the resource former Jewish Museum, Prešov Description An account of the resource The Jewish Museum in Prešov was established in 1928 and operated until 1938. From 1953 to 1993, its collection was housed at the State Jewish Museum in Prague. Today, the collection belongs to the Jewish Community of Prešov, and a small permanent exhibition is on display in the women’s section of the Prešov synagogue. For many years, the collection has been researched by a team consisting of Jana Švantnerová, Zsuzsanna Toronyi, and Maroš Borský, who collaborate with numerous experts in Slovakia and abroad.
